Nyla-71
Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG

Weeds & herbs are plants that grow or reproduce aggressively becoming invasive in the field.
Volunteer crops are also regarded as weeds in a subsequent crop as they can greatly impact the upcoming crop’s yield. In such cases, non selective herbicides are preferred to prepare the field for upcoming crop. Nyla 71 is a non selective post-emergence herbicide for annual perennial, broad leaf and grassy weeds. It’s translocation action ensures that process of knock down of weed reaches the roots. It is especially effective against the difficult to control weeds.

Mode of Action

Non-selective, systemic herbicide of Organophosphorus group.
Once sprayed on the foliage of the weed, it is transmitted throughout the plant via translocation action. It hence reaches the roots & rhizomes of the plant.

Upon reaching all area, it inhibits formulation of an essential plant enzyme called ESPS (5-Enolpyruvyl – Shikimate -3 – phosphate Synthase). Inhibition of this enzyme prevents the production of aromatic amino acids required for protein synthesis within the plant. Lack of the protein synthesis results the death of treated weed/plants. This process generally takes 7 to 12 days from start to finish. Hence, Nyla 71 destroys the weed from its leaf till the root system.

Recommendation:

Apart from annual and perennial weeds, Nyla 71 is also recommended for aquatic weeds due to its efficiency.
It can kill all types of weeds if sprayed in open fields, bunds and water channels.
