Metman is a mixture containing Mancozeb and Cymoxanil. Mancozeb remains on plant surface and acts by contact action (Preventive). It reacts with sulfhydryl groups of enzymes in fungi, causing disruption of energy production. While cymoxanil has contact and systemic effect, so it is preventive and curative.
Fungal diseases in agriculture can cause crop failure and yield reductions, resulting in substantial financial losses for farmers and agribusinesses.

Mode of Action

Dual-fungicide mixture containing Mancozeb and Cymoxanil. Mancozeb is converted to a fungitoxic isothiocyanate when exposed to air, inactivating enzymes in fungi. Cymoxanil has contact and systemic activity, inhibiting sporulation in fungi. Effective against various fungal diseases in crops.

Method of Application:

✔ Spray at first sign of disease or preventively if conditions are favorable.
✔ Repeat application every 10-14 days for optimal results.
✔ Adjust spray intervals based on disease severity for effective control.
✔ Mix the appropriate amount of Cymoxanil + Mancozeb with a small quantity of water in a container.
✔ Apply the spray using hollow cone nozzles, ensuring thorough coverage of the crop.
